  1. this is a real true story about the power of a mitzva!! its soo great we cant imagine! RAv Amnon Yitzchok knows how to open up the gates of heaven that are shut with inspiring ppl to become closer to hashem in a real tangible way!!! it was sooo hard for her to do the mitzva. However since she did, hashem rewarded her with a precious baby boy!!
this is a message to all of us to see the koach of a mitzva is so great not always do we get to see results so fast!!! we jsut have to realize the smallest thing in your eyes can be the greatest thing in hashem's eyes! All she had to do was cover her hair and then she was zoche to see her life dream come true!!
so the next time you have a chance to do a mitzva big or small rem this story... which should motivate u to run and do it since you never know how big it is and what u could bring to the world!!

  2. Wow, Chaya Sara, watching this video gave me the chills and brought tears to my eyes. It is AMAZING!!!

We do not begin to fathom the challenge this woman faced when she took upon herself to cover her hair!
We should also realize that mitzvah goreres mitzvah, one mitzvah leads to another. And so by her covering her hair, it lead to other things and she definitely improved in other areas!

And you see from here that by taking a step to change, however big or small that step is, you open up a world of bracha for yourself!!!

  3. Wow Chaya Sara this is amazing! my mother came from a non-frum family and her sis(my aunt)asked why she had no children and married for so many years so my mother told her to light candels and now she has chidren and the fist was twin boys. my mother is actualy now in Israel b/e its there bar-mitzvah and she wants to teach them all about it!
there was so many times when my aunt didnt know what to do so she terned to my mother for ex. whe my cousin had cancer...etc.. and all the time my mother would tell her to do z,y,& z and u know what!? it became true! so now my twin cousins-espeshialty the oldest realizes that some things thy are doing is wrong like not wearing kipote so he asks my mother too! hopefully im davening that they shoud 1day become frum to(my mother realized that things were wrong when she was some time between 5-7 and accepted being more frum when she was 12!)
May hashem guid those who are trying to become close to him in any way/try hard to do s/t-like covering their hair and help them grow to their fullest extent! and when hashem sees e/o improve to bring mashiach HERE IN OUR DAYS BIMIHARAH BIYAMAINU AMEN!

  4. Wow, thanks Chaya Sara. May everyone be able to see how mitzvot really have purpose and meaning and then may Mashiach be brought that much closer!!! Is this the same Rav from that story of the little boy who was sick with white sefer torah?

  5. It's so great when we can actually see the reward. We don't usually have that.

  7. this is amazing! doing just 1 mitzvah really brings down soo much brachah from Hashem! but also we should know that we shouldn't compare and think that since we're better than someone else in frumkeit, we should have a better life than them. lets leave the cheshbonos up to Hashem!

  8. Anonymous-i tottaly agree we all have our own goal in life that we have to do but 4 those who never were frum or went off the derech and then came back on those ppl. are even more speshial b/e they abviously seem like they believe more emunah in Hashem then those were born frum-b/e otherwise they wouldnt become frum or realize that its Hashem controling everything and come back on the derech-right?

My hashkafa teacher actualy teaches "dauters of Dignity" and all about tzniut and chesed. we were recently discusing about this, and came up w/ the idea that those who were either brought up in a non-frum home, or when the mother of the house isnt tottaly tzniut, or wasnt relig. etc... get so much more schar than those who were brought up in a tottaly frum home b/e there is always s/o tryn to stop u rather when your brought up frum u dont have everyone telln u off, makn fun of u...etc... so those ppl. who do become frum abv. had more emunah in hashem. rather like im not sayn all but on an average person-(lets just say s/o younger even though it realy makes no dif. b/e everyone gets emunah in hashem at dif. times)would say ya hashem is the one to call out to when i have a prob. y then didnt he answer my tefilah? or find excuses to not believing in Him, and then even going off the derech...right?....i hope im being clear....
